I have 8 antique mirrors (mostly bevelled edged) that I've brought back from my tour in England. The mirrors are all different shapes and most are under 2' x 3' in size. I've seen mirrors in frames and I like that concept. Any ideas?

Which do you prefer and why? I heard that antique mirrors really tell you whether you are pretty or not and modern mirrors just lie to you and show you that you are uglier. Is this true?

How much should I expect to pay for this service? Will it hurt the value of the antique mirror?

I work for a very small company that specializes in custom stained glass and misc. art glass products. We have the opportunity to get a big job making distressed mirrors. only problem is we arent sure of how exactly it is done. is there a step by step how to link or can anyone please explain what or how to make this type of transformation. Is there a chemical that can do this??? HELP i'm running out of time

I have a 1920's mirror and several of the glass heads are missing from the top of the screws. They broke off so that now all i have is the ugly screw without the decorative glass top. Is there any place that sells them?

You cannot see the symbol on the mirror in person. I took 3 pictures to post on e bay to sell the antique. When I looked at the pictures, each one had a different symbol in the mirror. One looked like the Star of David, one looked like an hour glass, and the last one I don't know. Does anybody know what this means?

I DO NOT want liquid nail, I need something that removes easily. The biggest mirror is about 16 inches, and 1.5 pounds. The smallest is 3/4 inches. These mirrors are permanent, but just in case they look stupid, or I'm sick of them, i want an easy way to remove them. I also DO NOT want to use traditional mounting because that would take FOREVER, and the mirrors are frameless so it might be tricky and hard. Thank You!

I have a large space on the living room wall. I wanted to stay away from the traditional large mirror/picture and go with something else. I wanted to try and stick with the Pottery Barn look. Any ideas? oh and the walls are a light tan color...

I have a wall in between 2 windows that is a focal point in my living room, I found this gorgeous oval mirror with a really dark finish that will match my hardwood floors, but I feel like it needs something else to make it stand out. I have more of the traditional living room.

Hello! Was wondering what your favorite book, magazine, &/or website was for decorating ideas? Also I am redoing my living room and I painted the walls a chocolate brown called Traditional (Behr) and my furniture is a light cream colored sectional. So now I am stuck on what to do for curtains, area rugs, mirrors, wall decor? ANY feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much for everyone's time.

Recently I saw this work on the wall of a newly constructed house. the landlady told me that the workers were from Gujarat. And it is their famous traditional work. It is called 'lep work'. But I could not find this word on internet to know more about it.

The painting....I have no idea the artist or what time period it's from....but it's quite famous I should think...since I know about it :-) ... and it's a picture of someone in the foreground....a bed in the background...one of those four post ornate, kinda victorian looking ones....and on the back wall is a mirror....with another image on it....I know it's not much...but if you know....it'd help.

I have a 35x45 ornate framed wall mirror. It has the original blue and white tag on the back with number 1666. Does anyone have information on this company and the year it started? Are TWA of value?
